Understand and use the Content and Users and Groups views to manage platform insights. Data view grouping gives you access to records of students, content, and standards used throughout reporting and analysis.
What You’ll See in Data Views
Data view grouping enables educators to examine how key data sets intersect. For example, when a student engages with a test, the result is meaningful insight about their progress or mastery. Each view under Data supports a specific piece of that equation:
- Content — Locate and manage all platform lessons, assessments, and practice items. Use this view to confirm what students are assigned, explore available materials, and track alignment to performance data.
- Users and Groups — Understand your school or district’s organizational setup: students, teachers, and classes. Use this information to verify enrollments, view user-level engagement, and organize data for reporting or grouping purposes.
Each of these views presents a searchable, filterable table that helps you locate and manage specific records.
How to Use Data Views
- From the main navigation bar, select Data.
- Choose one of the available views: Content or Users and Groups.
- Use filters or the search function to locate a specific lesson, standard, or user record.
- Review or export data as needed to support planning, reporting, or instruction.
Summary
Data view grouping brings together the core components—students, content, and standards—that shape reporting and information across the MasteryPrep Platform. By using Data view grouping, educators can better understand what’s working, what’s aligned, and where support is needed.
