The Content view gives educators access to all licensed instructional materials across the MasteryPrep platform. Use this view to monitor how content is assigned, completed, and performing across your classes, schools, or district.
What You’ll See
You’ll begin with a view showing all content types. You can then filter by test, standard, or specific content type such as Practice Tests or Online Lessons. The summary widgets at the top (like % Assigned or Average Accuracy) will update based on your filters.
The main table includes the following for each item:
- Name
- Type (e.g., Online Lesson, Book Chapter, Practice Test)
- Test
- Standard
- Reporting Category
- Duration
- Average Score
At a glance, these metrics help you track how students are engaging, as well as how content is performing.
Types of Content
You’ll encounter a variety of instructional materials on the platform. Here’s a quick guide to what each type means:

Online Lessons
Lessons featuring videos and interactive exercises to build content mastery and strengthen strategic thinking -
Practice Tests
Full-length practice tests that prepare students for official assessments and track their progress -
Bell Ringers
A set of standards-aligned practice questions used to warm students up at the beginning of class and reinforce mastery of key skills -
Book Chapters
Chapters available in the eBook format, providing exercises and resources aligned to state and test standards; some include online practice questions -
Digital Resources
Supplemental files, such as PDFs and presentations, used to support instruction or extend learning -
Skill Review
Targeted review modules featuring short instructional videos and focused practice, helping students reinforce and strengthen specific skills
You may also see other content types like Diagnostics, Practice Sets, and eBooks (such as teacher manuals or student workbooks).
Filters and Access
Use filters at the top of the page to narrow your results by:
- Date
- School
- Teacher
- Class
- Student
- Test
- Content Type
The content you can access depends on your role:
- Teachers see content assigned to their classes and students.
- Admins see content across their assigned schools or districts.
- Authors and Super Admins have access to preview all licensed content.
How to Use Content View
- Access the View — Go to Data > Content.
- Apply Filters — Use filters to narrow results.

Review Key Metrics — Use the table to understand how much content has been completed, how students are scoring, and how well materials align to reporting categories and standards.
- Understand instructional alignment with Reporting Category and Standards.
- Evaluate pacing and effectiveness with Estimated Duration and Average Score.
- View Content Details — Click any content title to open a detailed view, including the average score, estimated duration, and number of interactions.
- Take Action — Use these insights to adjust instruction, reassign content, or collaborate with other educators.
